James
Brolin recently talked to "Access Hollywood" about the insult
that made him fall in love with wife Barbra Streisand,
how they make the marriage last, and his search for deep sea millions.
Brolin
told Billy Bush about the insult that made him fall in love with
Streisand, "It was almost like a blind date. I had just cut off all my
dyed hair and she came up to me and said who screwed up your hair and I
went 'boy, somebody in this room is telling the truth. This is great.' I
responded so well to it, and we've been together for 10 years now. It’s
a good marriage."
Brolin
added that the key to making the marriage last is, "getting a little
tune up whenever you have some differences, get a referee to help you
get through it and learn some lessons...a counselor sometimes."
Furthermore, when Bush asked who wears the pants in the relationship,
Brolin answered, "Oh, she does."
Brolin
also confirmed that Streisand would be going back on tour, "It took her
six months. She kept saying, 'no, no, no' and now she is going to go out
in November."
On
another note, the veteran actor told Bush, "I'm a day trader...I came
across this new company that was putting together a group of the most
expert deep sea divers and it sounded kind of interesting because they
are going after Spanish galleons...I bought the stock and then on the
website I bought some more."
When
asked if he would be going on board to join in the deep-water
exploration and recovery of important treasures, Brolin said, "I'm going
to go out with them for a few days until I get bored and then in three
months there is a 20 million dollar recovery ship that starts out."
The interview airs on "Access Hollywood," Friday, March 24.
