The show was almost identical to
Monday night --
with the following exceptions.
-
Barbra sang a couple of
parody verses of 'Stoney End' -- after one audience member requested the
song. Barbra admitted that she didn't understand the lyrics to the song
-- but she had rehearsed it.
-
David Shire and
Richard Maltby were in attendance -- they wrote Starting Here, Starting
Now.
-
Barbra said she (and
members of her team) logged onto the fan message boards (presumably this
one) -- to find out what people wanted her to sing.
-
Members of the Choy family
were present (Barbra worked for them in a Chinese restaurant before she
was even a teenager).
-
The
Political "George Bush" skit was shortened -- and Barbra sang Happy Days
solo.
-
The New York shows were
being recorded by Sony for a compilation CD.
-
Barbra mentioned the
tragic plane crash in NY yesterday during the instrumental of “Smile”.
-
Barbra also sang Happy
Birthday to a fan from Paris, from one of the Ask Barbra cards.
