Come share in the fun before the owner of this establishment heads off to Takashimaya in New York City, where he will be exhibiting the beautiful career- historical gowns from Barbra Streisand’s personal collection from May 9-23. The gowns, also being previewed in London will be offered by a Julien Entertainment charity auction at L.A.’s Pacific Design Center, ASTRA WEST, on June 5, 2004. They will also be on display at the Pacific Design Center LA from May 31-June 4.

This totally unique (a bar-BER shop by day… a bar-BRA shop by night) gallery and memorabilia shop, the only one of its kind worldwide, is located right here in the heart of Palm Springs. The BARBRA SHOP is an oasis of sensory pleasures for the passionate Streisand fan and/or collector.

For the curious tourist, this unique gallery/gift shop provides a journey through the entire career of Barbra Streisand, the legendary, multi award winning and celebrated songstress, actress, writer, director, producer, philanthropist and committed citizen.

Posters from around the globe, and featuring Miss Streisand, fill the walls from floor to ceiling. Most of these framed collectible posters are available for sale, as are the many and varied collectibles adorning the shop. Additionally, many unframed collectible posters from the curator’s private and nearly lifelong collection are available to the serious collector. The owners studio/warehouse in Palm Desert is available by appointment and special arrangement. Designer/decorator service also available.

NOTE: The Barber Shop will remain open as always!!! Only the Barbra Shop is going on summer vacation.
