Meet The Fockers doesn't open in the UK until January 28th. However, I was very lucky to be invited to the first press screening of the movie at the Empire Cinema in London last night.

Being a young fan of 20 (21 next week!) I've never seen Barbra on the big screen. This was a happening for me! I decided to fly down on the short 40 minute flight, and spend one night in London (Great place to celebrate Barbra's 17th movie afterwards!)

I arrived at the Empire Cinema at about 6pm with best mate Tom, we then met a couple of reps from Universal (UIP) - and went straight through to the biggest Cinema that I've ever seen. It was more like a big theater! We were first in to the cinema, and we grabbed the best seats in the house. Second tier, front row. No one in front, eye level to the big screen -- Poyfect. At this point I was starting to get a little verklempt.

The lights dimmed, the cinema went quiet. Here I was, sitting - about to finally witness my first Barbra movie on the big screen.

Barbra makes her debut about 15-20 minutes into the film. The first you see of her, is her behind! (My friend Tom said, "Wow, what a great ass".) Those famous Legs are still fabulous as ever, too! It's a hilarious scene. You now start and get the feeling of her character.

I'm not going to spoil it for everyone with spoilers. For the majority of people, you'll see it on the big screen next week. Those in other parts of the world can wait a bit longer! (If you can't, there are spoilers being discussed on the message board)

In my opinion, the 8 year wait was worth it. For me, Barbra's character was even more hilarious than Doris or Judy! You've never seen Barbra like this before. It's going to be a big hit. The British audience loved it. 9/10
